ZX Spectron

The ZX Spectron comes in at number 10 on our list for several reasons:

1. It’s a very simple yet nice looking skin. We love the color stripes.
2. The stripes don’t seem to fade much, or the entire skin for that matter, as the float increases.
3. The price seems to be relatively stable over time. So, it’s not likely that the skin will lose a lot of value.
4. Most importantly, there are 9 other skins we love more.

If you are looking for a good skin without spending a lot of money, the ZX Spectron skin is the way to go!

Not last but still close. At number 9

Valence

Valence also has a very nice colorway. Maybe we just love bright colors? We place the Valence skin at number 9 because: 

1. We love how the red lines highlight the FAMAS.
2. The transition to orange moving closer to the barrel is subtle yet amazing. And the outlining of the barrel is a very nice detail.
3. Like the ZX Spectron, the float doesn’t really affect the Valence look very much.
4. It’s a very affordable skin.

Though the entry point is about double what the cheapest ZX Spector costs, we still see the value here.

Crypsis

There is something about the Crypsis skin we can’t really put our finger on. We understand it’s a very cliche concept: leaves and sticks create the camouflage look. However, we love it because:

1. There are a lot of different pattern variations. This means that not every owner will have the exact same-looking skin.
2. It’s very inexpensive.
3. An increased float seems to camouflage the FAMAS a bit more.

The Crypsis skin has lost a lot of value since launching. However, at the current price point, does it really matter?

Styx

The Styx skin is one of those skins you either love or hate. We had a tough time putting it at number 7. Here’s why we did:

1. The Factory New skin is really nice.
2. Like the Crypsis, there are a lot of different pattern variations.
3. We love the shade of red and how it makes the grip pop.

Skulls and blood. Is there anything more fitting for a game where you try to take the other team out?

Overall thoughts:Though it is the cheapest version, we’d stay away from the Battle-Scarred version. The float all but kills the entire design and feeling. If it weren’t for that, we may have placed this one with number 6.

Coming in at number 6

Roll Cage

At first glance, the Roll Cage skin looks very similar to the skin in our number 7 position. In fact, they have a lot in common; the red, white, black, and tan colors. We also love:

1. The battle-hardened feeling we get when we look at this skin. It just looks like a skin a pro would use.
2. The float doesn’t really affect the skin as much as the Styx skin.
3. It’s very affordable.
4. It comes with stickers. Even if we don’t want it to!

The Roll Cage is a great example of how a basic design can give the viewer a certain feeling. And we feel that the number 6 position is perfect for the Roll Cage skin.

Overall thoughts:This isn’t skin you should buy as an investment. The price remains relatively stable over time. However, the look and feel of the skin may just be worth spending a couple of bucks on.

Reaching the halfway point at number 5

Prime Conspiracy

The Prime Conspiracy skin gives off a very urban graffiti-type feeling. The deep blues and reds almost give off a vibrant feeling. We love Prime Conspiracy at number 3 because:

1. The float seems to enhance the urban feeling.
2. Even at Factory New, the clip seems like it’s been to war. It’s a nice mix.
3. The price is almost constantly on the rise.

Prime Conspiracy isn’t cheap. In fact, it’s rather pricey. However, at around $20 when it launched, this skin could be a great investment if the price trend continues.

Afterimage

The Afterimage skin reminds us a lot of the urban, artsy feeling we got from the Prime Conspiracy skin, but better. With a continuous red, blue, and white paintbrush line and a very subtle honeycomb design, the Afterimage is a real sight.

We place it at number 4 on our list because:

1. Like the Prime Conspiracy, there is a beautiful contrast of the Factory New skin and the worn out clip, but a bit more extreme.
2. The float adds to the feeling of really being through battles.
3. It’s like the Prime Conspiracy, but it’s only nicer and less expensive.

We recommend spending a bit less and getting something cheaper than the Factory New version. It still looks good, and you can save a bit of money.

Djinn

The Djinn is a skin we struggled to place at number 3. We love it. However, the two below seem to get more love within the CS2 community. The Djinn skin has a mystical and menacing aura that seems to improve as the float increases. We also love it because:

1. The increased float seems to highlight the design.
2. The Well-Worn version is the cheapest, yet looks the best.
3. We love how the clip and barrel match. Simple, but they stand out.

If you aren’t scared of creatures with horns, you should probably check this skin out.

The Meltdown skin has a very vibrant gold and black design splattered with nuclear symbols. We love this skin at number 2 because:

1. The skin has a lot of different patterns, making the skin feel a bit more rare.
2. The float adds to the “decay” theme of the skin.
3. The price only ever seems to go up.

If you are looking for an investment, this is it. Not only is the skin pretty cool-looking, but it has increased in value by about 400%.

What is the Most Expensive FAMAS Skin in CS2?

Believe it or not, the most expensive FAMAS skin in CS2 is the Souvenir version of the Teardown skin. It commemorates the 2013 DreamHack SteelSeries CS:GO Championship and was dropped during the Exhibition match between Team Duncan and Team Tomi.
The prices seem to range from around $300 to over $1,000, with the Battle-Scarred version being the most expensive. As expensive as it may be, the most expensive FAMAS skin does not appear on our top-10 list.
